School leadership in the digital age

Recent projects states’ AI policies
Hello
As a former middle school teacher and administrator, I’ve always been bewildered – and fascinated – by how technologies have changed life in schools. So I made it my mission to help school leaders understand what they mean, and don’t mean, for teaching, learning, and humanity.
Today, I’m an associate professor of educational leadership at Boston College, where I direct its Ed.D. program for school and district leaders. My research has spanned data-informed decision making, 1:1 devices and social media, school discipline technologies, and now AI.
